| · | Site and Equipment Training sessions would be held on-site at the school or at a mutually agreed school site. It is desirable that teachers work with the hardware and software that is located in their everyday workplace. There are a number of reasons for this:
While it can be argued that training offsite adds variety and an external stimulation for teachers, the arguments for on-site training are more persuasive. |

| · | The Netride Mobile Network The Netride owns a portable network. The network consists of Pentium laptop computers using PC Card radio network cards. This means that no cables are needed for each laptop to be connected to the network. Peripheral devices for the network include a laser printer, a digital camera for conferencing, a modem and a ZIP drive. Each laptop has a full range of software loaded including the Microsoft Office suite. The network is fully portable and can be transported to each site and set up in about half an hour. The network can be used to work on-site at a school that does not have a complement of computers sufficient to run a training session or where the inconvenience of moving machines is prohibitive. Various servers are running on the Netride network. The servers include an email server, a web server and an FTP server. The presence of these servers means that The Netride network is a full Intranet and is a valuable training tool for Internet-based technologies including managing an Intranet. An additional server is used to distribute the live Internet feed over the network. This network configuration allows The Netride to run Internet training sessions where a school does not have either a live feed or an adequate number of machines with a live connection in order to run a training session. |
